Free Heritage Tree Tour at Sentosa Nature Discovery

Did you know Sentosa is home to more than 25 carefully-conserved heritage trees? Come and join us for a FREE Nature Heritage Tree Tour. The tour is perfect for nature-loving backpackers, or families who just want to spend quality time together and have fun learning!

Tours are run on the last Saturday of every month and last 1 hour (10-11am).

Free Day Tours at Fort Siloso

Explore Singapore's only preserved coastal fort for FREE!

Built in the late 19th century as an important installation for protecting our coastline, Fort Siloso is now home to a wealth of WWII memorabilia, including the largest collection of coastal guns in Singapore. Come and explore the fortified military structures and tunnels with our passionate guides, as they journey with you back in time with stories of yesteryear.



Tours run on the 2nd and 3rd Saturday of every month and last 1.5 hours (3-4.30pm)

My Queenstown Heritage Trails

If you’re looking for something that takes in a very different piece of Singapore history from the usual downtown spots, then these tours could be for you.

Named after Queen Elizabeth II to mark her coronation in 1952, Queenstown was Singapore’s first satellite town. ‘My Queenstown’ are a community group with a passion for the history of the area and they run 3 different tours that collectively recount the stories and visits the iconic landmarks that have defined the Queenstown skyline for the past 60 years.

The tours run every month, are free to join, and are on a first-come first-served basis.

Singapore Maritime Trails

As an island nation, not surprisngly Singapore has a long and fascinating Maritime history. The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) run two very different tours of the many old and new Maritime landmaks that really bring the stories of Singapore’s rich maritime history to life.

Tour 1 is run on the 1st Saturday of every month and tells the heritage story of the progress of Singapore’s maritime industry.

Tour 2 is run on the 2nd Saturday of every month and brings together old and new maritime landmarks as a collective testimony of Singapore’s rich maritime legacy and growth.

Free Singapore City Tours (for transit passengers at Changi Airport)

You may just be passing through this tiny island-state, but let Singapore’s sights and sounds, colours and beats, energy and electricity enthrall you on these free Singapore Tours. If you have at least 5.5 hours to spare till your connecting flight you can join one of their two, 2.5 hour tours.

The Heritage Tour runs 5 times daily and the City Sights Tour runs twice daily.

Free SINGAPORE MARITIME TRAIL

Dear Friends,
The Singapore Maritime Trails is one of MPA's signature outreach efforts aimed to let participants discover more about Singapore’s rich maritime stories through two different trails!  The series of Singapore Maritime Trails is conceptualised and organised by Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore as part of its outreach efforts. Join us for the Singapore Maritime Trails that tell us the story of the progress of Singapore’s maritime industry through a guided tour of old and new maritime landmarks. 

Singapore Maritime Trail 1 launched on 12 April 2014, the first Trail focuses on Singapore’s Maritime Heritage. It traces the progress of Singapore’s maritime sector through a tour of local maritime heritage sites, such as Fort Canning and Boat Quay. Through location-based elements such as the Fort Canning Lighthouse, participants are taken from the time of the Singapura Kings to the establishment of Singapore as shipping and other maritime activities started around the mouth of the Singapore River and moved westwards to the Telok Ayer area and then out to the New Harbour of Keppel Harbour.
These complimentary trails, run on the First Saturday of each month at the following time slots:
  • 9.00am to 11.30am
  • 3.00pm to 5.30pm
The trails are open for registration and spaces are limited.

Pick up and meeting point: Swissotel, The Stamford. Hotel Lobby (at the corner near the escalator)
Final drop off and ending point: Harbourfront Cruise Centre - Coach Bay
Programme (locations in Blue are walking trails, the rest are landmarks along the bus route. Commentaries will be given on the bus) :
1.       Fort Canning Park - Maritime Corner @ Fort Canning (Fort Canning Lighthouse & Flagstaff)
2.       Robertson and Clarke Quay 
3.       Singapore River  (Raffles Landing Site and Boat Quay)
4.       Fullerton Hotel Building
5.       Waterboat House
6.       Collyer Quay
7.       Telok Ayer Basin, Raffles Quay, old sea coastline
8.       Shenton Way to Keppel Road to Tanjong Pagar Terminal

Singapore Maritime Trail 2 was launched on 19 May 2015. It is a journey that maps out the progress and advancement of our Port, which is a major impetus to the economic development of Singapore. It is also a story of our people in the maritime sector who had, with their hard work, drive and perseverance, contributed to our maritime success. The Trail brings together old and new maritime landmarks as a collective testimony of Singapore's rich maritime legacy and growth. Old landmarks such as the former Keppel Harbour at Keppel Bay, Clifford Pier as well as the Batu Berlayar (replica) at Labrador Park carry us back to the starting point of the 'New Harbour', developed to replace the old port along Singapore River. Moving forward, landmarks such as the Maxwell Chambers, Maritime House and former Clifford Pier are evidence that the Singapore maritime industry has propelled this island-state into the rungs of top International Maritime Centres of the world.  
These complimentary trails will run on the Second Saturday of each month at the following time slots:
  • 9.00am to 11.30am 
  • 3.00pm to 5.30pm
The trails are open for registration and spaces are limited.
