Local Volunteering

If you’ve been travelling for a while, you may be sick of sightseeing and want to get a bit more involved with the local action, or you may just want to spend some of your time ‘giving back’.

If that sounds like you then there are plenty of volunteering opportunities for Singapore visitors. Here are some of my favourites.

OSIM Sundown Marathon 2018

“SLEEP CAN WAIT” ... so say the organisers of the nation’s first and most popular night marathon. Since the inaugural event in 2008, the number of entrants has rocketed and around 30,000 runners are expected at this year’s event.

They rely heavily on volunteers to make the event run like clockwork, so why not get in touch and find out how you can help.

The event date is 19th May 2018. For full details, including volunteer benefits, visit their website.
